Eh, I hated this too. That being said we downloaded the Toddler Lock App and Thad loves it. It shuts off any wireless signal while they play with and it locks them into the game so they can't exit it and play with everything else on your phone. That being said, he's getting kind of bored with it...I just wish more apps locked them in. Anyway, we only use it once in a great while, I'm not a fan of the phone playing either. Then again, I'm the parent that says I won't be putting a DVD player in my either - we'll see how that turns out in five years. ;)

Hey there,
My sister & sister in law have the leappad & LOVE IT. One of the boys is 4 and the other is 3. The one thing they did say was to get the a/c adapter. It goes through lots of batteries. Hope this helps!
