In case you missed it, we're headed to the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration (#DisneySMMC) next week! I mentioned that this years conference is extra exciting, in that it's both on land and on sea!! We cannot wait to go on our first ever Disney Cruise!!
It wasn't long after I completed my registration for DisneySMMC that I started hearing a lot of excited chatter about "Fish Extenders." I did what any curious person would do, and turned to google to see exactly what it was all about. For some basic info, click here.
Essentially, you sign-up for a Fish Extender Group through Facebook. There are usually 10 cabins per group. You give a small gift to each member in your group. Gifts can be really be anything, whether it's homemade or purchased. Completely your call.
Of course once you have your gifts squared away, you'll need to attach a tag of some sort! There are many adorable options you can purchase on Etsy, but I wanted to create something of my own. Here's what I came up with...
picmonkey). Then add text. The font I used is Newport Classic SG. Click here to download for free. Then you can simply print them out on cardstock, and trim with a paper trimmer. Super easy!!
Other than Fish Extender Groups, sometimes people will leave random "pixie-dust" inside of your Fish Extender. While this is not something everyone chooses to do, I happened to have a few extras and I thought it would be fun to share with other travelers! For this, I created a "Pixie-Dust" Tag!
clicking here. Customize however you'd like! For these tags, I used the Black Chancery Font. You can download it for free here.
I will be sharing many more posts about Fish Extenders when we return from DisneySMMC. Have you ever been on a Disney Cruise? Have you participated in a Fish Extender?
