Oh yes. I realize this post is a wee bit late, but better late than never! Am I right?! For starters, I had an appointment with my neurosurgeon. My Lincoln wanted to make him a card. Seriously sweetest boy ever. Of course my doctor loved the card. He's going to hang it up in his office. Before I left, he gave me a huge hug. I thanked him for saving my life...because without him, I don't know if I would be here today. He sent me down to see the nurses in ICU that cared for me when I was there. That was a bit difficult, emotionally for me.
We also had to drive by where the accident happened, on our way home. I don't know if it was all of the events of the day, or what, but I ended up having a pretty bad panic attack that night. I guess it's expected, but I hate when I lose control like that.
|sweetest card ever :)|
Anyways, moving forward... It's very rare I get a photo of all three of my boys. So, you know I snapped this as soon as I could!
My sweet Avery bug ADORES his grandpa...
Avery LOVES his puppy!! he was totally teasing her with his blankie.
Come Thursday night, the hacking cough I've had on and off since Thanksgiving time caught up with me. I felt absolutely miserable. I actually used one of Lincoln's nebulizer treatments.
I decided to see my doctor on Friday morning. She agreed I've had that cough for way too long, and prescribed me an antibiotic...and gave me my very own inhaler so I can leave my kids alone. HA!
Saturday was proclaimed a jammie day so mommy could get some rest. Lincoln and Avery enjoyed muffins on the couch and probably watched too much YouTube Kids.
BUT, I was feeling better by Sunday, thank goodness! Moms don't have time to get sick!!
Check out my little Avery mastering the spoon!
We're true Pats fans in this house. Although they didn't win the big game on Sunday, there's always next year! Don't my boys look adorable rocking their team gear...
And of course it would't be a week if something crazy didn't happen. Sunday night Lincoln all of a sudden had some crazy rash all over his body. I snapped this darling photo of his face, I'll spare you the one of his chest.
Don't you love his cute smile? Anyways, I have absolutely no idea what caused it. I gave him some Benedryl and a bath with a few drops of lavender essential oil. By the time his bath was done, the rash was gone. So weird.
Kids always keep you on your toes!! So that was our week. Hoping this one is a bit more low-key!
