You guys. Lincoln heads back-to-school next week. He's not just going back-to-school either -- he's going to KINDERGARTEN!!! FULL DAY Kindergarten at that!! Talk about a major life adjustment -- for our entire family!!
I'm going to be honest here. I think I'm going to have a much more difficult time with this change than Lincoln.
He has been my little sidekick for the past [almost] 6 years. I love the bond I have with my first born son. He has really grown into such a sweet, kindhearted little boy -- and I am just so incredibly proud of him.
The truth is, he's going to do great in Kindergarten. I know he is. His outgoing and infectious personality is going to shine through. This is only the start of his great adventure, and I just cannot wait to see all he accomplishes in life!
Lately we've been in full-on back-to-school shopping mode. He has an entire new wardrobe, school supplies, and his backpack and lunchbox. What else is left??
SNACKS!!! Like I said, Lincoln is going to full-day Kindergarten, which will mean he will be bringing his own lunch and snacks to school!! Of course he could purchase a hot lunch...but, my sweet boy is super duper picky!! And honestly, I'm a little excited about preparing his lunch each morning!!
While shopping at Walmart the other day, I came across some yummy Quaker products in the cereal aisle. I thought these would be great choices to include in Lincoln's lunchbox!!
I ended up choosing Quaker Life cereal, Quaker Instant Oatmeal (maple brown sugar flavor, mmm!!), and Quaker Chewy Dips Peanut Butter Bars (which by the way are SUPER yum)!
Paired with a sandwich and some fresh fruit, this would be the perfect lunch and snacks for a full day of school!
I love how Quaker is helping make better for you snack choices super simple -- and tasty!!
