I never thought I'd say this, but this pregnancy is starting to fly on by! The first trimester dragged, and was pretty awful. But now that I'm feeling better, and we're so busy with summer activities, time is flying!
Last week we had our anatomy scan, and baby BOY is absolutely perfect! My mommy intuition was spot on. I just knew we were having another wee boy, and I couldn't be happier!
Funny story. All along, Lincoln's been saying he's having a "baby sister." Well, the morning of my anatomy scan, I asked him one last time, and he said "baby BROTHER!" That was the first time he ever said brother, so I thought that was kind of neat when we found out he was going to have a little brother :)
We also brought Lincoln with us to the anatomy scan, and he really surprised me with how well behaved he was! We told him he was going to see the baby on TV. He was really into it!!
Other than being a 100% boymom, more importantly, this baby is looking 100% healthy! Of course there is a 50% chance that this baby could have Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), but as of right now, his bone measurements are perfect! This makes me a very happy Momma!
Here is a belly shot taken at 19 weeks in the guest room of my parents house....notice the exersaucer in the background...they're just a little bit excited about having a little baby around again ;)
Sleep? Still good....not including the fact that I get up at least twice to pee.
Best moment this week? Baby kicks getting stronger everyday.
Food cravings: Fruit salad!!
Gender: BABY BROTHER!!!
Milestones: A perfect anatomy scan!!
And here's the best profile shot we were able to get of baby boy #2...
I cannot wait to see the similarities and differences between him and his big brother!!
