Blankie Baby
Lincoln has just recently taken a liking to blankies. I find it rather funny, because he is 17 months old, and just getting attached to them now. I thought it would have happened sooner than this! But anyways, it's very cute nonetheless!! He'll climb into his chair, and wrap himself in his blankie...
The other night he actually covered me up with his blankie, and then waved "bye bye." I think my sweet boy tucked me into bed! Here he is the other night, clearly way tired, dragging his blankie around on his Toy Story car...
My brother had a favorite blankie when he was a baby. My Mom still has it, except it no longer looks like a blankie, but more like a knotted rag :)
Does your baby have a certain blankie or lovey that he/she is attached to? I think it's super cute :)

Easter Weekend
What a fun weekend! Holidays surely are better with wee ones in your life! We had a jam packed weekend, filled with all things fun :)
For starters, Lincoln had his first run with coloring Easter eggs! This was fun, and incredibly messy! I don't know who had more fun, him or me :)
Here are his masterpieces...with a little help from Mommy :)
Easter morning was very exciting. We spent the weekend at my parents house, and Lincoln woke up to not one, but TWO, not baskets, but HUGE BUCKETS filled with fun goodies!!! His Grammy & Grandpa spoil him, just a bit :)
He was very excited about his bat that his Uncle (my brother) got him. He kept saying "bat!"
& of course with that bat, came Lincoln's first glove!
He really loved being the center of attention :)
Next up, was the Easter egg hunt. It didn't take Lincoln long to figure it out!

Easter 2010 Throwback

Our Honeymoon
As promised in yesterday's Wedding Day post, today I will share some photos with you from our honeymoon!
We honeymooned locally. My parents have a timeshare townhouse, directly on one of the beaches in Rhode Island. They just so happened to have it the week we'd be honeymooning, so they kindly offered it to us :)
Jared decorated our car, and we arrived in style...
He had the place all decorated when we arrived
Here we are on our front deck, overlooking the ocean... 
The next morning, I woke up to this surprise...

Yes, my husband can be quite the romantic. However, he also decided he needed to master the Rubik cube on our honeymoon...
He completed it, while I took a blissful 2 hour nap

Our Wedding Day
Recently, one of my readers requested to see some pictures from our wedding day. I honestly cannot believe I haven't shared this day with you already! Consider yourself forewarned...this post is going to be BURSTING out the seams with photos :)
Our wedding day was May 20th, 2007. We chose that date, specifically, because my Grandmother would be celebrating her 80th birthday. My grandmother passed away, when I was 12 years old. When we were looking at the calendar for possible wedding dates, I immediately knew our day was May 20th, when I saw it was on a Sunday :)
Here I am, on our special day...
