Lincoln had his 18 month checkup yesterday. My sweet boy is now 28 lbs 13 oz and 35 inches tall! He is still off the charts for his height. His weight has dropped to the 75th percentile. He is growing tall, and thinning out!
This was our first time seeing this pediatrician. The one we have been seeing since Lincoln was born, left the practice. I was quite sad about this, because she was great with him, and handled him since he was a wee babe, but I really liked this new doctor. He was really great with Lincoln, and most importantly, Lincoln liked him.
His appointment went great, even though we had to get two quick little shots. Lincoln was a trooper though. He cried for a few seconds, but recovered quickly with some hugs from his Momma. He passed all of the doctors developmental tests with flying colors, and I was told "he's perfect." What Mother doesn't like to hear that? :)
I cannot believe he's 18 months old. Soon I'll be planning his 2nd birthday! It seems like just yesterday we were bringing this sweet boy home....
Watching this beautiful son of mine grow, each and every day, is truly a miraculous thing to witness. I am so unbelievably blessed.
I cannot believe we don't go back to the pediatrician now until he's two years old! AND, he doesn't get anymore shots until he's FOUR?!?! [with the exception of his flu shot, of course]. How the heck is my kid getting so gosh darn big?!?! Doesn't he know he's supposed to stay my sweet little boy forever and ever? Who am I kidding? He will always, forever be my sweet boy. And I, am one proud Momma.
